The Ph.D. student Sakai whose mentor is Prof. Ming Jiang published an article in The Society of Polymer Science,an Japanese journal. The title of this article is “The development of macromolecular science in China within the three decades of reform and opening-up”. This article is based on another paper called “How can the macromolecular researches in China go to the world?” published in Polymer Bulletin by Prof. Ming Jiang and Xiaxiao Liu. This article paid much attention to the contributions of the academic exchange between China and Japan made to the development of macromolecular science in China. The Society of Polymer Sciencewas first published in 1952. It plays an important role in the areas of polymer academia and industry.
